Worked for the City of Kent, WA for 35 years. 33 years in the traffic division. Started the traffic control construction plans for the city. Taught flagging certification beginning in 1986. Was a traffic control manager in the State of Washington. Retired in 2002 from the city and started teaching flagging at CSI in 2004.

Rick Callor

Rick is the Safety Training Director for URS Corporation. He holds an A.A.S. in Occupational Safety and Health from Trinidad State Junior College. Mr. Callor has been a Safety and Health Professional for the past 33 years in Mining, Construction and the Environmental Restoration Businesses. He obtained the Safety Trained Supervisor in Construction in 1999 and has since obtained his CSP Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Mr. Callor is also an authorized Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Instructor and an Instructor Trainer in all aspects of mining with the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Mr. Callor was elected as President of the Board of Directors of The Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologists (CCHEST) for 2009 after serving on the Board for 6 years. He resides in Eagle, Idaho.

Kim Davids
Operation Lifesaver was started in1972 in Idaho. The program is dedicated to reducing trespass & grade crossing incidents through an education, engineering, and enforcement program. It has been very effective in doing this. The incident rate has dropped from 66 incidents in 1991 to 10 in 2012. I have been involved in the program for twenty 29 years.

Gary is the Trade and Industry Coordinator for the College of Southern Idaho. He holds a dual emphasis Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate and Vocational Education and a Master’s in Human Resource Training and Development. Gary has taught industry training for the past 13 years.

I have worked in the construction and maintenance fields throughout my 34 year career of federal service. During this time, I’ve worked for seven different agencies throughout the west and on the east coast with 12 years in and around the NYC area. I have worked in and/or supervised the majority of the various construction and maintenance trades. After many years as a field supervisor, I eventually moved into project development and management of multi-million dollar federal construction projects. The project management included the collateral duty of safety enforcement on the various projects. I eventually became a department head and a construction project administrator at a federal facility in NYC. In 1999, I transferred to OSHA as a senior Compliance Officer and spent 5 years working in the Parsippany Area Office in New Jersey. I transferred to the Boise Area Office in 2004 as a senior Compliance Officer. In the 10 years I have been with OSHA, I have completed hundreds of inspections with an emphasis on construction safety. My specialties/areas of expertise are excavations, steel erection, roadway work zones/traffic control, scaffolds, fall protection and construction equipment. I have completed a variety of pre/post OSHA safety and health courses as well as having trained/instructed for the same. Prior to working for OSHA, I was a designated Competent Person for excavations, scaffolds and fall protection. I have also initiated and/or performed a variety of safety outreach, compliance and technical assistance activities including OSHA partnership efforts in New Jersey and Idaho.

Jason Giard
Jason currently works as an operations engineer for the Idaho Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in Boise, Idaho.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Montana State University.  He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Idaho and Montana.  Over his 35 year career, Jason has been extensively involved with designing, constructing and the maintenance of sidewalks and curb ramps.  This experience was gained while working for the Montana Department of Transportation, a Montana consulting engineer, and the FHWA.

Mark Sandoval
Mark has over 30 years of Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental experience in a variety of industries, including ten years in the wood products industry while working at Boise Cascade and in a consultation role. Mark graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental-Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge, and earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene from USC, while on a National Institute of Safety & Health fellowship. Also, he earned a Green Belt Certificate in Six Sigma, from Villanova. Mark is also a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. As a former OSHA enforcement officer and OSHA consultation representative, Mark has unusual insight and experience helping a variety of industries to resolve difficult issues, including oil & chemical manufacturing, hazardous waste, wood products, pulp & paper, and healthcare. Major areas of management experience includes disaster preparedness, safety & health auditing, accident investigation, and managing EPA, OSHA & DOT compliance. Most of Mark’s career has been in the private sector, with substantial experience in serving multi-site locations.

Cecil Tipton,

Cecil has a Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University.  He has worked for OSHA for 5.5 years and has an extensive background in the health care field.  As a Health Compliance Officer for OSHA he conducts both health and safety inspections. Cecil is one of three compliance officers that have been trained in and conduct PSM related inspections.

Pamela Burkett

As a native of the Magic Valley, I have a great understanding of its unique qualities. I graduated from Twin Falls High School and have a Bachelor Degree in Management from LCSC. I worked for 10 years with the Idaho Department of Labor. From this employment experience I developed skills in placement of workers and expertise in unemployment tax law. l I have worked for the Idaho Industrial Commission for 14 years as an Office Supervisor and Rehabilitation Consultant. I have completed 1,000 on site job evaluations to assist doctors, employers and injured workers in return to work. I have helped return over 700 workers to work with their time of injury employers and have provided vocational counseling to 800 workers.

Geri Bermingham

Geri has been an investigator for the Idaho Industrial Commission for a little over nine years and has an assigned territory that covers eleven counties in Central and Southern Idaho.  Her back ground includes sixteen years in law enforcement, eight years in retail management and sales, five years as an office manager in the private sector in medical and agricultural field, four years in the automotive repair industry and one year in the manufacturing community.   In addition to the full time positions, she has also worked in the airline industry, jewelry trade and food service industry, all of which has given her great insight to the different labor industries.

Bruce Drewes
Bruce is the Training and Research Manager for the Idaho Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) also called the Idaho Technology Transfer Center or T2 Center, which provides training and technical support to the 286 Local Highway Jurisdictions in Idaho. He came to this position from the Idaho Transportation Department in 2000. Bruce is currently certified to teach ATSSA Flagging, Traffic Control Technician courses, FHWA’s Traffic Safety Review, Road Safety Fundamentals and Road Safety Audits. In this position, Bruce delivers about 40 classes a year in the field of work zone traffic control, math, survey, Retroreflectivity and other courses.

Lori Fletcher
Lori is the Safety and Security Manager for the McCain Foods, Burley facility, a position she has held since 2008.  McCain Foods with over 60 facilities worldwide and over 20,000 employees is one of the largest food service and retail manufactures of frozen potato products and appetizers in the world.  Lori has an extensive background in the food processing industry with over 30 years of experience.  Starting out on the shop floor as a QC grader and lead person, she was promoted to a management position as a production supervisor, later serving as a Sanitation Supervisor and Corporate Quality Manager. Lori has an Associate’s degree in General Business from CSI , a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Training from ISU,  and an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council. Lori has also completed the OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 hour course in General Industry.

Randy Norris
ITD - Dist. 4  Randy came from a farming/ranching background. He Graduated from Gooding High school in 1981 and from the College of Southern Idaho in 1982, from the Diesel mechanic program. He worked for several farm implement dealerships in the Magic Valley before starting a career at ITD in 1989. He spent 5 years as a mechanic for ITD before transferring into construction inspection. In 2005 he received a promotion to the District 4 Safety Coordinator. In 2008 he became an instructor for the OSHA 10 hour construction classes and has really enjoyed the experience, "I learn something new every time I conduct a class".

Eric Lowe

Eric is serving his fourth year as Co-Chair of the Idaho Association of General Contractors (AGC) Safety Committee, and works as the Risk Management and Employee Wellness Consultant for Premier Insurance. After retiring from the naval service in 2006 aboard USS Boise where he served as a Reactor Safety Supervisor, he returned home to Boise to work as safety and training director at a construction equipment rental company. Eric has been an advocate and speaker on the dangers of distracted driving since 2009, frequently giving school assemblies throughout southern Idaho to promote safety among our youthful drivers.

Tracy Ervin

Tracy received her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver in 1996.  She joined the Center for Physical Rehabilitation in 2000, and became a partner in 2008.  In addition to a busy orthopedic case load, she is responsible for CPR’s Occupational health programs.    She is certified with WorkWell, an internationally recognized company that provides work injury solutions to industries, and is a certified Idaho worker’s compensation specialist.  She is responsible for CPR’s ergonomic and work injury prevention programs, and provides numerous services and consults with local industry regarding these programs.  Additionally, she provides a complement of services including functional capacity evaluations, post-offer screens, functional job descriptions, work risk analyses, and return to work programs.

Dr. Beaulieu is the President of Industrial Hygiene Resources (IHR), with headquarters in Boise, Idaho.  Dr. Beaulieu was awarded the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA®) recognition as a Fellow in 2011.  He is the past Treasurer (officer) and member of the board of directors of AIHA® with his 3-year term ended in June, 2012, (AIHA; 5/2009-5/2012 and 5/2004-5/2007), a past Director of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH; 1997-2003), and a Diplomat with the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene (AAIH).  He was also a past Chairman (1999-2000) and member (1997-2001) of the Joint Committee on Ethics and Education (ABIH, AIHA, ACGIH, and AAIH). He presented the AIHA® Value Strategy to the 2011 NASA Occupational Health meeting in Albuquerque, NM.  He was presented the President’s Award from the Teton Local Section of AIHA® in 2009.

Dr. Beaulieu has been a certified industrial hygienist (CIH®) with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH) since 1979 (33 years).  Since 1960, ABIH, a not-for-profit corporation, has been the world's largest, premier organization for certifying professionals in the practice of industrial hygiene. ABIH is responsible for ensuring high-quality certification application and examination processes, certification maintenance and ethics governance and enforcement.

Dr. Beaulieu was recognized as a “Gold CSP®” (Certified Safety Professional: 30-year) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) in 2008. The CSP credential is the most sought after safety certification in the United States-globally recognized as a symbol of expertise in the safety profession.

He is also a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the Semiconductor Environmental Safety and Health Association (SESHA), the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), and the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA).

Dr. Beaulieu was an Industrial Hygiene consultant with the Safety and Health Consultation Service of Boise State University during 1983-1984.  He was a professor of Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health at Colorado State University (CSU) from 1977-1982.  He taught graduate level noise control, as well as comprehensive Industrial Hygiene at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.  At that time, he directed numerous research projects in Industrial Hygiene resulting in at least nineteen (19) technical publications.  He is also the author of the two texts, Quantitative Industrial Hygiene - A Laboratory Manual, and Toxicology - A Self Paced Learning Module for Environmental Health Professionals.  In 1976-1977, he was an Industrial Hygienist with the US Department of Labor (OSHA) in Beaumont and Houston, Texas.

Jim McCray

Dan Heil
Dan Heil was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1996 and decided in 2006 to follow his lifelong dream to become a Police Officer for Twin Falls City Police Department.  He has been an Officer for seven years, and has spent the majority of his time a Patrol Officer.  Dan has been the Crime Prevention Officer for a year now and has so far enjoyed his time in the position.  One of his true passions of law enforcement is being able to work with the public and educate people on how to better protect themselves and the ones they love.

Dr. Tony Sirucek

Dr. Sirucek is the clinical director of the Twin Falls Spine and Injury Center. He has extensive experience in caring for spinal related issues. These range from trauma related cases as a result of accidents and sports injuries. This accompanied with his comprehensive post doctoral education allows Dr. Sirucek to treat both the simple and complicated cases. Dr. Sirucek is certified by the New York State Department of Education, Board for Chiropractic, by having attained postdoctoral education in MRI Spine interpretation, electrodiagnositc interpretation, triaging the injured, caring for the trauma patient, head trauma and brain injury, impairment rating and accident reconstruction. Dr. Sirucek is a member of the Academy of Chiropractic and the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals. Dr. Brian Johns

Dr. Johns grew up in Pocatello.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his internship at Ball Memorial Hospital. He earned his Master of Public Health degree and completed his residency in occupational medicine at the University of Iowa.  He is board certified and a Fellow in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is the System Medical Director for St. Luke’s Occupational Health, overseeing clinics across southern Idaho and eastern Oregon.  He has been practicing at St. Luke’s, primarily in Twin Falls, since 2008.

Helen Wagner

Graduated with the first College of Southern Idaho LPN class in 1967.  Following graduation, she worked at hospitals in Sun Valley, Pocatello, Rupert and Twin Falls.  In 1972 she became the Occupational Health Nurse at Tupperware Manufacturing in Jerome, Idaho until the company left the area in 1988.  From there, she started working in the position of Occupational Health Nurse at Universal Frozen Foods, now ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston where she continues to work today.  Wagner has also worked as an EMT for the Jerome Ambulance Service in the 70s.  She began teaching First Aid /CPR while employed with Tupperware Company and continues to teach these courses at ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston.

Angela Hickmon

Angela is the owner of Magic Valley Credit Repair. She was a Branch Manager in the lending industry for 10 years, and was a Retail Manager for over 9 years. Seeing a tremendous need for credit repair/education, she started her business 3 1/2 years ago. Angela is a member of NAPW, Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce, and Credit Repair Compliance Groups. She has also participated in volunteer efforts within the Twin Falls Area such as Boys and Girls Club, Elev8 program, Valley House, Paint Magic, and Habitat for Humanity.

Dennis Tilley

He spent the first ten years of his career managing a farm and cattle operation in southern Idaho. He changed his career path in 1991 when he started working as a certified public accountant. For the last ten years he has owned and operated his own accounting firm.

Monty J. Arrossa

Monty is the Human Resources Director for the College of Southern Idaho where he provides professional and quality services in the areas of employee relations; management consultation; policy development, dissemination, interpretation, and compliance; classification and compensation; communication; employee data; benefit information; recruitment and employment; job description development; orientation; performance appraisal information and assistance; training and professional development opportunities; and wellness information. He also facilitates and coordinates supervisory and professional/classified employee training. He has over seven years in the Human Resource profession in the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining the College of Southern Idaho Monty worked for the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor. There he worked in Job Service offices in Twin Falls and Pocatello. With the Department he was responsible for hiring, training and evaluating professional employees.

In addition to the management and supervisory skills he has developed over his career, Monty is an avid horseman and enjoys spending his extra time racing chariot horses.

She attended the College of Southern Idaho, held a bookkeeping position in a public accounting firm and performed administrative secretarial services for a local engineering firm.  Debbie has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Fifth District CASA Program and was involved with foster parenting through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.  She taught a drug and alcohol prevention program at an area juvenile detention center and has participated in a number of public and private school educational projects.

She has worked with the Idaho National Guard to assist families who may need financial guidance during soldier deployment and with Probation and Parole requiring assistance with fundamental credit counseling for transitional individuals.

She completed a Credit Report Specialist Program and designed a financial literacy presentation that is widely used in educating students and adults seeking to re-enter the workforce.  She frequently teaches financial awareness and identity theft protections classes at local schools, the College of Southern Idaho and at the Easter Seals-Goodwill Working Solutions in both Twin Falls and Burley.

Debbie is a member of the Idaho Coalition Against Identity Theft as well as the South  Central Idaho Housing Council.

Sherry has worked for the Idaho SBDC since 1991 as the Center’s Course Developer and more recently as Social Media and E-Commerce trainer as well.  She counsels with clients one-on-one who need assistance with the online aspects of their business and also provides workshops through the Center and Community Ed  on topics like Facebook for Business or Personal Use and Selling on eBay.  Through the years,  Sherry  has seen the introduction of the Internet to the College of Southern Idaho campus and the Idaho SBDC and has been a partner  as the Center and the College have  expanded  the use of  email, webpage management and now all forms of Social Media  to make the College AND the Idaho SBDC technology focused and technology friendly.  Sherry will share with you her insights on how to protect yourself online and control the type and amount of information that you share as we enter into this ‘brave new paperless world’.
